Over the past 17 years, I have been involved with the fusion center in Montana. I have a deep understanding of the fusion center's role and have held multiple positions at the MATIC including Analyst, sworn Agent, Supervisory Agent, and now as the Bureau Chief. During my career I have focused on intelligence, information sharing, situational awareness enhancement, and ensuring the protection of privacy, civil rights/civil liberties of citizens. I currently serve as a National Fusion Center Association (NFCA) Executive Board Co-Chair for the Rocky Mountain Region. I represent the Executive Board on major initiatives through the Analyst Council, Fusion Liaison Officer Committee, and actively collaborate with the State and Local Anti-Terrorism Training Program. Through these initiatives, I proactively work with fusion center staff and external stakeholders to enhance representation and engagement for the NFCA. My experience and dedication to the fusion center mission would successfully aid me in serving as the next NFCA Vice President. I would actively work to advance the NFCA's national strategy while enhancing relationships to ensure the longevity of the Network.]

I am interested in running as your NFCA Vice-President. I am currently the Director of the Orange County Intelligence Assessment Center (OCIAC) in Southern California. I have been at the OCIAC for 11 years. I have served as your NFCA Secretary for the past four years. Prior to the NFCA Secretary, I held the Pacific Region co-chair position.
I have represented the National Network of Fusion Centers at local, state, and national meetings to include expanding information sharing relationships with federal partners, access to publicly available social media data, and increasing awareness of the Network with public safety and private sector partners. I have represented the NFCA in front of the House Homeland Security Committee on the lack of social media data access by law enforcement. As an analyst myself, I feel fortunate to represent the 1,000+ intelligence analysts in the National Network of Fusion Centers to the NFCA Executive Board. I am fortunate that my prior experiences have all been opportunities focused on what I am most passionate about—securing the homeland. I look forward to continue serving all of you and ensuring we continue growing the hard work of our men and women.]
