[Justin Parker: Justin Parker - Justin Parker - Deputy Director / Senior Intelligence Analyst, Iowa Department of Public Safety Division of Intelligence and Fusion Center (Iowa DOI/FC)
I joined the Department's Intelligence Bureau in 2000. I have served as the department's lead on domestic and international terrorism threats - supporting FBI JTTF investigations and intelligence collection for over twenty years. In 2005, as the Intelligence Bureau was developing into what would become Iowa's Fusion Center, I was promoted to become a Senior Intelligence Analyst - focused on strategic intelligence. In 2013, I was assigned as the first Lead Analyst for our Strategic Analysis Team, which managed various initiatives including JTTF and Safe Streets support, collection management and finished intelligence production. In 2018, I was named our center's first Deputy Director. Throughout my career, I have also worked to advocate for and support regional and national intelligence initiatives to include: HSIN INTEL (Governance Board member since 2010), National Mission Cell Pilot (awarded a National Intelligence Professional Award by the ODNI in 2015), National Network of Fusion Centers (NNFC) Analyst Council (chair since 2019), and numerous other task teams and working group projects for the Network.]
